100 Women Who Care - Chelsea Area

Social Support

100 Women Who Care – Chelsea Area is based on the simple concept of bringing women together to make maximum local impact in a minimal amount of time. One-hour meetings are the first Tuesday in Feb, Jun and Oct. After hearing a short presentation by three charities, each nominated by a member, a majority vote determines the recipient of the evening’s Impact Award. Members (individual or team) commit to a year of meetings, donating $100 each meeting to the chosen charity. 100 women x $100 = $10,000! Eligible charities must be a 501(c)3 organization (or formally sponsored by one) that serves Chelsea, Dexter, Grass Lake, Manchester, Stockbridge or adjacent townships.  Membership is open to any woman interested in making a difference in our communities. The more members, the more money for local charities – we are not limited to 100 members.  Read more about how it works on our website.
