Chelsea Farmers Market

Chelsea Farmers Markets will cultivate a commitment to quality local products and produce in a pleasant, easily accessible location by offering goods that will enrich our community through healthy food choices, social exchange and economic growth.

We offer a sense of place for our community members to get active, connect and purchase local fresh foods and artisan goods. Our two locations provide a mid-week and weekend experience. We have baked goods, produce, meats, cheeses, jams/preserves, jewelry, wood working, ceramics and body care products! Our vendors are committed to quality and our locations safe and accessible.

In-person outdoor markets are now available on both Wednesdays and Saturdays, as of April 30th. The Wednesday Market is open each Wednesday from 1-5pm, and the Saturday Market every Saturday from 8am-1pm through the end of October.  The Wednesday Market is held in the Chelsea State Bank Lot at the corner of Old US 12 and S. Main St.  The Saturday Market is held downtown at Palmer Commons (222 S. Main St.)

The Open Food Network online store is also open for online ordering Monday – Thursday, from 7am to 7pm. Click on the yellow button below to place an order!

Chelsea Farmer’s Market is proud to be a part of 5 different food assistance programs, all with the goal of increasing the health of Chelsea residents, making fresh foods available to those in need, and getting the market more involved in its community! Our 5 programs are:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) – aka “Bridge Card”
  • Double Up Food Bucks
  • Prescription for Health
  • Senior Project Fresh
  • Women Infants Children (WIC) Project Fresh
  • Senior Market Bucks
