St. Joe's Chelsea Diabetes Prevention Program

St. Joe’s Chelsea’s Diabetes Prevention Program is a free evidence-based program that helps individuals with pre-diabetes prevent or delay the onset of Type 2 diabetes.

This program is tailored to support individuals who are ready to make healthy lifestyle changes. Learn how to be more active, manage stress and lose weight while learning techniques to help you stay positive and motivated. The Diabetes Prevention Program includes 16 weeks of classes followed by monthly maintenance sessions to provide ongoing support for optimal outcomes. The program is free, but requirements must be met, and registration is required.
