Stockbridge Community Outreach (SCO) provides emergency assistance to low-income families living in the Stockbridge School District.  The following services are currently available to those who qualify: Assistance with food utilities, rent, , gas vouchers and prescription co-pay assistance. We accept donations of used seasonal clothing and small household goods and offer these donations, free of charge, to the public (no qualification needed) during regular office hours.

Other programs include the Tide Me Over weekend backpack and Summer food programs for kids/families on the free or reduced lunch program. (Available when school is no longer offering increased food due to COVID). Milk and Open-Air Market coupons and paper/hygiene products are distributed monthly.   Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday programs are available.  Referrals to other agencies for specific services we don’t provide, and consultations, are available on a case-by-case basis.

Our facilities are used for monthly Government food distribution (CSPE and TEFAP, Ingham County only)

The 2nd Monday of every month, distribution of produce is available to anyone in need of food. Called “Fresh Food Distribution (FFD), it takes place at Jeruel Baptist Church in Munith at 4:00 p.m.
